One Simple Trick to Start Creating Again

Today I just want to share a quick tip that works WONDERS for creative block.

So, I’m guessing there’s something you want to do more often. Maybe it’s making jewelry, or painting, or hula hooping.

Tell me, where is your jewelry making stuff, your art supplies, your hula hoop? Are they out where you can see them, arranged attractively and enticingly in a lovely space that begs you to use them? Or are they stuffed in a dusty closet somewhere?

The latter? Hmm…

Here’s your tip: It’s time for your supplies to come out of the closet.

Yup, that’s it.

If your tools are hidden away where you can’t see them, you won’t think about them very often, and when you do you’ll think “Ugh, I’ll have to get all that stuff back out, set everything up and then I won’t even have time/energy to make anything!”

So get those first steps out of the way and set everything up.

Clear a little space for yourself to create. Set up an easel in the corner of your bedroom. Set up a card table in your living room with your jewelry supplies all organized and arranged attractively. Rearrange some furniture so you can grab your hoop when you feel like it and bust out a few moves.

I tell people this all the time, and you wouldn’t BELIEVE what a difference it makes. It’s so simple!
